About us

DVF Farms began with a dream—and a little bit of courage. Mike, always the risk-taker, looked at me one day and said, “You need to start the flower farm.”

But the truth is, the roots of that dream were planted long before that moment. My grandfather bred roses and spent countless hours tending his plants as an amateur horticulturist. I grew up watching the care and pride he put into every bloom.

In high school, I started a small flower garden of my own. I remember wanting to grow better marigolds, which led me to take a horticulture class. That one class changed everything. From there, I got a job at a local cut flower farm, where I eventually became the production manager. During those years, I learned far more than how to grow flowers. I learned the realities of production horticulture, the rhythm of long days and early mornings, and lessons about life, love, and the importance of working together as a family.

My passion only grew stronger, leading me to study horticulture in college. I even spent time in San Diego learning how flowers are grown in a completely different climate and environment.

Looking back now, I realize flowers have always been a part of me. From my grandfather’s roses to my own fields today, flowers have been stitched into my DNA—and DVF Farms is the place where that lifelong love continues to grow.

At DVF Farms, it’s more than just flowers — it’s about creating moments of joy, connecting people with nature, and sharing the beauty of blooms grown with heart.
